Klucel G – 500 Grams

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Klucel G is a non-ionic hydroxypropylcellulose soluble in water and most polar organic solvents, but insoluble in many apolar organic solvents. It is compatible with natural gums, starches, and acrylic and vinyl emulsions. Klucel G contains no plasticizers and is reversible in water after drying. It is used for fixing paints and pastels, and especially as an adhesive for paper materials. Additionally, it can be used as a thickening agent in the preparation of alcoholic and hydroalcoholic gels at concentrations of 3–5%.
