PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A non-ionic hydroxypropylcellulose soluble in water and in most polar organic solvents, insoluble in many apolar organic solvents, compatible with natural gums, starches and acrylic and vinyl emulsions. Klucel G contains no plasticizers and is reversible in water after drying. It is used for fixing paints, also pastels, and especially as an adhesive for paper materials. It can be also used as a thickening agent for the preparation of alcoholic and hydroalcoholic gels, in a 3-5% concentration.
