PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Disinfestation technology in a controlled atmosphere is the natural ecological alternative to treatments based on toxic harmful substances such as methylbromide, ethylene oxide, and formaldehyde.
The principle of disinfestation in a controlled atmosphere is simply based on modifying the proportion of gases present in ambient air—specifically, by reducing the oxygen concentration while increasing the nitrogen content. This causes the death by anoxia of biotic agents (insects, larvae, eggs, pupae, adults) at all life stages.
This is a mature and proven technology: highly effective, non-polluting, leaves no residues, and does not chemically interact with the treated materials.
The process is repeatable and entirely eliminates the risk of accelerating the decomposition of the materials being treated. It is also ideal for long-term preservation, protecting items from pests, dust, and environmental pollutants.
ISOSEP MISTRAL D MOBILE is a portable, wheeled system for nitrogen-based anoxic disinfestation. It operates fully autonomously and is managed by dedicated software installed on a laptop.
The system produces high-purity nitrogen using advanced technology based on molecular separation of atmospheric gases.
It enables treatment both in a controlled and a modified atmosphere. The treatment process involves placing the objects inside sealed plastic bags, which are then connected to the device via special tubing and fittings.
After setting the target parameters (Residual Oxygen and Relative Humidity) using the software, the system automatically manages the full treatment process—maintaining the internal atmosphere of the bag and turning itself on or off as needed.
ISOSEP MISTRAL D MOBILE ensures full operator and environmental safety. It alternates between analyzing ambient oxygen levels and the levels inside the treatment bags. The software manages this process and will shut down the system and issue both visual and audio alarms in case of abnormal readings.
Multiple bags can be treated simultaneously.
The oxygen sensor can be calibrated directly via the integrated control panel.
