WideTEK WT24F-600 Flatbed Scanner

^WideTEK® 24F is the newest member of the Image Access family of large format flatbed scanners. Combining the latest camera technology and illumination techniques, it is not only extremely fast, but also extremely accurate scanning at resolutions up to 1200 dpi, and yet it is still an affordable solution.

By far the fastest CIS flatbed scanner on the market, the WideTEK 24F completes a full 600 dpi color scan of the entire area in less than 4 seconds. During these few seconds the image is compressed and sent over the network, while the competitor’s product is still running on a 200dpi scan. The 1200dpi resolution provides details of the scanned document that even the human eye cannot see.

The WideTEK 24F has a robust glass plate that protects the scanner from exposure to dirt and dust, wet ink or paint or other objects. The glass top extends from edge to edge, allowing scanning of oversized objects, and the adjustable lid height supports thicker objects. You can pull the cover up and adjust the stops to a higher position. This way you can scan a canvas or any thicker object up to five cm or two inches. The cover can easily be completely removed. The scanning part of the glass is almost invisible due to its anti-reflective coating. Cleaning is very easy and a special treatment with high scratch resistance ensures a long life of the scanning glass.

The WideTEK 24F’s color space is much wider than SRGB and the output can also be set to Adobe RGB or native RGB. Our unique online ICC profile eliminates the last remaining defects.

The virtual rescan function eliminates the need to physically rescan documents. Virtually all scan parameters can be changed on the fly and results are instantly visible on the built-in touchscreen or optional external monitor.The WideTEK 24F flatbed scanner is a true production scanner, designed to require little or no maintenance.
