C.T.S. has developed two picture varnishes with high stability, named Regal Varnish, based on the aliphatic resin Regalrez 1094, diluted in de-aromatized petroleum oil. Regal Varnishes can be applied by spray or brush and can be mixed together to obtain semi-matt effects. Thanks to the content of specific stabilizers (Tinuvin 292), they remain reversible in apolar solvents even after many years and have a very low tendency to yellow.
