The pH 10.01 buffer in a 500 ml bottle is the most popular buffer used before analyzing baseline samples. It is ideal for those who require an accurate alkaline reading, especially suitable for those working in water treatment plants, the food industry, water sports and Hydroponics, and all environments where the pH is expected to be alkaline. Hanna Microprocessor pH meters can be calibrated at pH9.18 and pH10.01.

Buffer solutions should be stored at 25°C out of direct sunlight for accurate readings.

To properly care for your meter/electrode, we highly recommend using a buffer along with a Hanna cleaning solution for maximum performance every time. pH4 can also be used as an emergency storage solution together with pH7.
