The pH 4.01 buffer is available in a 500 ml bottle, one of the most widely used buffer solutions. It is extremely stable and represents the midpoint in the acid range of the pH scale – ideal for those who require accurate acid readings, especially in water treatment plants, the food industry, and anywhere the pH is expected to be acidic.

Buffer solutions should be stored at 25◦C away from direct sunlight for accurate readings.

To properly care for your meter/electrode, we highly recommend using a buffer along with a Hanna cleaning solution for maximum performance every time. pH4 can also be used as an emergency storage solution together with pH7.
