“Giotto” drop-spine boxes are made from Duralong Wave archival micro-corrugated board, ideal for long-term horizontal or vertical storage. The drop spine allows safe insertion and removal of items and creates a microenvironment inside the box, protecting contents from chemical-physical changes (dust, light, environmental pollutants). With double-thickness walls on all sides of the base and lid, it is extremely strong and rigid. The innovative ultra-thin Velcro system (approx. 1.0 mm) allows fast and easy assembly. On request, a convenient internal kit (Duralong Special board 1.4 mm and herringbone cotton tying tape) is available to fix loose documents for secure vertical storage.
