PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :  Carbogel, the result of a research carried out on gelling products for poultices, is composed of a neutralized polyacrylic acid, which allows to prepare a gel by simply adding water, whose viscosity can be varied at will. A quantity of Carbogel between 0.5 and 4% by weight in aqueous solutions is sufficient to yield a high viscosity gel; this feature solves problems of removing gels utilised to date from the support. These problems are also connected with the amount of solid materials used. Carbogel has high water retention capacity which thus evaporates in very long times. The modified polyacrylic acid Carbogel can be added to powdered cellulose mixtures and to the classic solutions of ammonium carbonate or bicarbonate, EDTA, etc…..
