Bookeye ® 5 V2 has been completely redesigned to be more environmentally friendly, ergonomic and easier to use than previous Bookeye 4 models. Bookeye 5 V2 offers maximum efficiency throughout the entire scanning process. The modular product concept allows you to easily upgrade from the Basic model to the Kiosk version or the Professional version, depending on your budget and scanning needs.

The Bookeye 5 V2 book scanner now scans faster and delivers the highest quality image results, while also offering smart new functionality. This is a true scanner solution, not just a digital camera mounted on an expensive frame . Designed specifically as a self-service book scanner for formats 14% larger than A2 (460 x 620 mm / 18 x 24 inches) and intuitive built-in operating system.

Setup is so simple that you’ll be scanning within minutes of taking it out of the box. Bookeye 5 V2 is perfect for libraries, archives, offices and anywhere you want to scan and copy.

The 21-inch full HD multi-touch screen  allows the operator to control image quality and make many changes. To zoom in or move the image while previewing, pinch and swipe the touchscreen as you would on a smartphone. Add a second, optional display to operate the scanner with the main touchscreen and preview images using the second display. The Live Preview function uses a second matrix camera to present a live video view of the document location before scanning.

There are three possible locations to mount the touch screen : mounted on the neck of the scanner, mounted on the side of the scanner near the front, or mounted on the side of the scanner near the back, where you can angle the monitor to various degrees. It can also be used independently by lying flat next to the scanner. The image above shows the three locations attached.

Optionally, a separate preview screen can be mounted longitudinally if the main touch is on the side.

The unique magnetically attached book cradle solution allows users to digitize A2+ size books and documents by placing them flat on the scanning bed at 180° or in the V-cradle at a 120° angle for a precise, protective grip of the book. source material.
