PRODUCT DESCRIPTION : A ready-to-use neutral compound based on hydroxylammonium chloride and hydrazine hydroxide in solution with distilled water, expressly formulated for the removal of “black stains” caused by manganese oxides and hydroxides from the surfaces of ceramic, stone, bone and glass findings coming from archaeological sites. B.D.G. 86 can be applied through poultices or by dipping the objects to be cleaned. A line of B.D.G. 86 products is available according to their application field: – B.D.G. 86 Blue for glass materials with pH 5.5 – B.D.G. 86 Yellow for bone materials with pH 6.5 – B.D.G. 86 Red for ceramic materials with pH 7 – B.D.G. 86 Green for stone materials with pH 7
